SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Bernau of Story presented to the House Lia Pierson of Ames. Lia
is one of only thirty-two Americans to be selected as a Rhodes
Scholar and  only the fifth Iowa State University student to
receive this award. Lia is majoring in chemical engineering and
has also been very active in various extracurricular activities.
She will be attending Oxford University in England this fall.
The House rose and expressed its welcome.
