1 2 BY COMMITTEE ON RULES AND ADMINISTRATION
1 3 A Resolution honoring Bradley C. Banks.
1 4 WHEREAS, Senator Bradley C. Banks is retiring from
1 5 legislative office after completing one term in office
1 6 as a state Senator and two terms as a member of the
1 7 House of Representatives; and
1 8 WHEREAS, Senator Banks' service as Ranking Member
1 9 of the House Energy and Environmental Protection
1 10 Committee and of the Senate Agriculture and Natural
1 11 Resources Appropriations Subcommittees is well
1 12 recognized; and
1 13 WHEREAS, Senator Banks' dedication, leadership, and
1 14 expertise in the area of state agricultural and
1 15 environmental policy are well recognized; and
1 16 WHEREAS, Senator Banks has served honorably and has
1 17 unselfishly given of his time and efforts to further
1 18 the interests of the State of Iowa and to provide
1 19 beneficial programs for the citizens of Iowa; and
1 20 WHEREAS, Senator Banks has served on many other
1 21 standing committees throughout his eight years of
1 22 legislative service and has been an influential and
1 23 devoted legislator in this state; NOW THEREFORE,
1 24 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE, That the Senate pay
1 25 tribute to Senator Bradley C. Banks for his devoted
1 26 service to the Iowa General assembly and the citizens
1 27 of this state and wish him the very best in the years
1 28 ahead; and
1 29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That an official copy of
1 30 this Resolution be prepared and presented to Senator
2 1 Bradley C. Banks.
