  1  1    Section 1.  Section 709.8, subsection 3, Code 1995, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    3.  Solicit a child to engage in a sex act or solicit a
  1  4 person to arrange a sex act with a child.  
  1  5                           EXPLANATION
  1  6    The bill prohibits a person from soliciting another person
  1  7 to arrange a sex act with a child.  A person violating this
  1  8 prohibition commits a class "D" felony.
