1 1 Section 1. Section 99F.4, Code 1995, is amended by adding
1 2 the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 22. To specify the style and size of
1 4 public notices, not less than twelve inches by eighteen
1 5 inches, which notify the patrons of the racetrack enclosures
1 6 and the excursion gambling boats of the par sheet theoretical
1 7 averages for payouts of slot machines operating in those
1 8 gambling facilities. The public notices shall show the par
1 9 sheet theoretical averages for slot machine payouts by
1 10 denomination of coins or dollars and the overall theoretical
1 11 average for each racetrack enclosure and excursion gambling
1 12 boat. The commission shall provide that the public notices
1 13 are posted in locations conspicuous to the patrons of the
1 14 gambling facilities.
1 15 Sec. 2. Section 99F.9, subsection 5, Code 1995, is amended
1 16 to read as follows:
1 17 5. A person under the age of twenty-one years shall not
1 18 make a wager on an excursion gambling boat or at a racetrack
1 19 enclosure and shall not be allowed in the area of the
1 20 excursion boat where gambling is being conducted or in the
1 21 area of a racetrack enclosure where slot machines are
1 22 operated. However, a person eighteen years of age or older
1 23 may be employed to work in a gambling area.
1 24 Sec. 3. Section 99F.7, subsection 16, Code Supplement
1 25 1995, is amended by striking the subsection.
