1 1 Amend the amendment, S-5804, to House File 2486, as
1 2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 2, line 6, by inserting after the figure
1 5 "8.54." the following: "Additional funding
1 6 appropriated pursuant to this subsection shall not be
1 7 used for interdepartmental transfers or for any
1 8 expenditure other than for expenditures as provided in
1 9 the federal law which established and implemented the
1 10 guidelines for the block grant for which the funds
1 11 were appropriated."
1 12 #2. Page 2, by inserting after line 13 the
1 13 following:
1 14 "# . Page 14, by inserting after line 26 the
1 15 following:
1 16 "4. After the governor implements an action
1 17 provided for in subsection 1 or 2, and provides notice
1 18 as required under subsection 3, the governor shall
1 19 notify the legislative fiscal committee and the
1 20 legislative fiscal bureau of the amount of additional
1 21 funding that was allocated to each program.
1 22 5. It is the intent of the general assembly that
1 23 if funds received from the federal government are less
1 24 than the anticipated or appropriated amounts, the
1 25 governor shall replace all or a portion of the funds
1 26 for the following programs and block grants:
1 27 1. The helping disadvantaged children meet high
1 28 standards program.
1 29 2. The resource conservation and development
1 30 program.
1 31 3. The substance abuse prevention and treatment
1 32 block grant.
1 33 4. The community mental health services block
1 34 grant.
1 35 5. The maternal and child health services block
1 36 grant.
1 37 6. The preventive health and health services block
1 38 grant.
1 39 7. The drug control and system improvement block
1 40 grant.
1 41 8. The stop violence against women block grant.
1 42 9. The community services block grant.
1 43 10. The community development block grant.
1 44 11. The low-income home energy assistance block
1 45 grant.""
