  1  1    Amend House File 2497, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 7, by inserting after line 12 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "If the funds appropriated to the salary adjustment
  1  6 fund pursuant to this section are insufficient to
  1  7 fully fund the annual salary adjustments, expense
  1  8 reimbursements, and related benefits, an amount
  1  9 sufficient to pay any remaining obligations payable
  1 10 from the salary adjustment fund is appropriated from
  1 11 the general fund of the state to the salary adjustment
  1 12 fund for that purpose."
