  1  1    Amend Senate File 2341 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 17 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 96.5, subsection 2, Code
  1  5 Supplement 1995, is amended by adding the following
  1  6 new paragraph:
  1  7    NEW PARAGRAPH.  d.  For purposes of this
  1  8 subsection, "misconduct" includes, but is not limited
  1  9 to, the nondisclosure or misrepresentation of relevant
  1 10 information on the individual's application for
  1 11 employment, the failure to comply with the employer's
  1 12 work-related rules, and the failure to comply with the
  1 13 provisions of an employee handbook if the handbook was
  1 14 provided to the individual upon commencing employment
  1 15 or during the individual's probationary period with
  1 16 the employer."
  1 17    #2.  Title page, line 4, by inserting after the
  1 18 word "charges," the following:  "disqualification of
  1 19 benefits due to discharge of an individual for
  1 20 misconduct,".
  1 21    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
