  1 10 "January" and inserting the following:  "July".
  1 11    #6.  Page 50, by inserting after line 23 the
  1 12 following:
  1 13    "Sec.    .  INTERIM STUDY COMMITTEE.  The
  1 14 legislative council shall direct the public retirement
  1 15 systems committee established under section 97D.4 to
  1 16 meet during the 1996 legislative interim and make
  1 17 recommendations regarding diseases which are presumed
  1 18 to have been contracted while on active duty for
  1 19 purposes of accidental disability benefits provided
  1 20 under section 97B.50A, as enacted in this Act."
