1 7 "4. STUDY COORDINATOR.
1 8 For the annual salary rate to be paid to the
1 9 coordinator of the study relating to the sale or
1 10 conversion of the Iowa communications network pursuant
1 11 to House File 461, if enacted by the general assembly
1 12 during the 1995 regular session:

1 14 The Iowa telecommunications and technology
1 15 commission shall employ an individual to coordinate
1 16 and oversee the completion of the study relating to
1 17 the sale or conversion of the Iowa communications
1 18 network pursuant to House File 461, if enacted by the
1 19 general assembly during the 1995 regular session. The
1 20 individual shall work with the commission and the
1 21 general assembly in fulfilling the individual's
1 22 duties. Upon completion of the study, the individual
1 23 shall work with the general assembly and the governor
1 24 in coordinating the implementation of the
1 25 recommendations of the study, as appropriate. The
1 26 individual shall also work with the general assembly
1 27 and the governor in developing a long-term plan
1 28 related to the network consistent with the
1 29 recommendations of the study."
