  1  1    Amend Senate File 290 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 13, by inserting after line 12 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 321.463, Code 1995, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph after
  1  6 unnumbered paragraph 2:
  1  7    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  Notwithstanding other
  1  8 provisions of this chapter to the contrary,
  1  9 indivisible loads operating under the permit
  1 10 requirements of sections 321E.7, 321E.8, and 321E.9
  1 11 shall be allowed a maximum of twenty thousand pounds
  1 12 per axle."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
