  1  1    Amend Senate File 106 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 3, by striking the words "a state
  1  3 agency" and inserting the following:  "an appointing
  1  4 authority".
  1  5    #2.  Page 1, line 9, by striking the word "agency"
  1  6 and inserting the following:  "appointing authority".
  1  7    #3.  Page 1, line 12, by striking the word "agency"
  1  8 and inserting the following:  "appointing authority".
  1  9    #4.  Page 1, line 15, by inserting after the word
  1 10 "work." the following:  "An employee deemed to be on
  1 11 leave under this section shall not be deemed to be an
  1 12 employee of the state for purposes of workers'
  1 13 compensation.  An employee deemed to be on leave under
  1 14 this section shall not be deemed to be an employee of
  1 15 the state for purposes of the Iowa tort claims Act."
