1 1 Amend Senate Resolution 4 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 3, by inserting after line 9 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "For purposes of this rule, and the reports
1 5 required under sections 68B.37 and 68B.38, "services
1 6 enumerated under section 68B.2, subsection 13,
1 7 paragraph "a"" and "lobbying purposes" include, but
1 8 are not limited to, the following:
1 9 1. Time spent by the lobbyist at the state capitol
1 10 building commencing with the first day of a
1 11 legislative session and ending with the day of final
1 12 adjournment of each legislative session as indicated
1 13 by the journals of the house and senate.
1 14 2. Time spent by the lobbyist attending meetings
1 15 or hearings which results in the lobbyist
1 16 communicating with members of the general assembly or
1 17 legislative employees about current or proposed
1 18 legislation.
1 19 3. Time spent by the lobbyist researching and
1 20 drafting proposed legislation with the intent to
1 21 submit the legislation to a member of the general
1 22 assembly or a legislative employee.
1 23 4. Time spent by the lobbyist actually
1 24 communicating with members of the general assembly and
1 25 legislative employees about current or proposed
1 26 legislation."
