  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-5541, to Senate File 2448,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 18, line 8, by inserting after the word
  1  5 "for" the following:  "new grants and".
  1  6    #2.  Page 22, by inserting after line 12 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Sec. 20.  Section 232.190, subsection 4, Code
  1  9 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1 10    4.  This section is repealed effective June 30,
  1 11 1998.  The division of criminal and juvenile justice
  1 12 planning and the department of human services shall
  1 13 submit a report to the general assembly by January 15,
  1 14 1998, regarding the effectiveness of the programs
  1 15 funded under this section in meeting the objectives
  1 16 contained in subsection 3."
  1 17    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
