  1  1    Amend Senate File 2140, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 23 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 321.299, Code 1995, is amended
  1  6 by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
  1  7    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  A vehicle shall not
  1  8 operate in the farthest lane to the left on a rural
  1  9 multilaned highway unless the vehicle is overtaking or
  1 10 passing another vehicle in accordance with this
  1 11 section or unless the vehicle is not impeding
  1 12 traffic."
  1 13    #2.  Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
  1 14 word "highways," the following:  "delineating passing
  1 15 violations,".
  1 16    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
