  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-5419, to Senate File 2443,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 13, by inserting after line 33 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  476.4B  UNIFORM TOLL
  1  7 RATES.
  1  8    Except as otherwise specifically provided for by
  1  9 this chapter, a telephone company subject to rate
  1 10 regulation shall provide for uniform toll rates to be
  1 11 charged to all customers of the telephone company and
  1 12 shall not charge a different rate to a particular
  1 13 customer or class of customers than that charged to
  1 14 any other customer of the telephone company.
  1 15    Sec.    .  Section 476.97, subsection 3, Code
  1 16 Supplement 1995, is amended by adding the following
  1 17 new paragraph:
  1 18    NEW PARAGRAPH.  f.  Providing for uniform toll
  1 19 rates to be charged to all customers of the local
  1 20 exchange carrier."
  1 21    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
