  1  1    Amend House File 2472 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 9, by inserting after line 10 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "It is the intent of the general assembly that as a
  1  5 condition of receiving the appropriation in this
  1  6 subsection, the department of corrections shall
  1  7 require that each work shift in a correctional
  1  8 facility directly involved with supervision of inmates
  1  9 have a correctional officer of the same gender as the
  1 10 majority of inmates in that correctional facility."
