1 3 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 10 through 12 and
1 4 inserting the following: "original signatures. The
1 5 instruments".
1 6 #2. Page 1, by striking lines 15 and 16 and
1 7 inserting the following: "at least eight and one-half
1 8 inches across the page by two inches in length, on
1 9 which space shall be typed or legibly printed across
1 10 the page on the bottom one-fourth inch of this space,
1 11 the name, address, and telephone number of the
1 12 individual who prepared the instrument. The remaining
1 13 portion of this space shall be reserved for use by the
1 14 county recorder,".
1 15 #3. Page 1, by striking lines 22 through 24 and
1 16 inserting the following: "print or type the
1 17 signatures appearing on the instrument."
1 18 #4. Page 1, by inserting after line 29 the
1 19 following:
1 20 "Sec. . APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to
1 21 instruments signed or notarized on or after January 1,
1 22 1996."
1 23 #5. Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
1 24 word "recorder" the following: "and providing for the
1 25 Act's applicability".
1 26 #6. By renumbering as necessary.
