  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3498, to Senate File 266, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 4, line 38, by striking the figure
  1  5 "281,256" and inserting the following:  "296,256".
  1  6    #2.  Page 4, by inserting after line 39 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "From the moneys appropriated in this subsection,
  1  9 $15,000 shall be expended to provide grants to
  1 10 students who would meet the requirements for receipt
  1 11 of a vocational-technical tuition grant, but who are
  1 12 enrolled in a licensed school of cosmetology arts and
  1 13 sciences under chapter 157, or a licensed barber
  1 14 school under chapter 158.  The amount of the grant
  1 15 made by the college student aid commission pursuant to
  1 16 this subsection shall be not less than $300 or the
  1 17 amount of the student's established financial need."
