  1  1    Amend House File 519 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 14, line 7, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "permit." the following:  "The department shall
  1  4 deliver a copy or require the applicant to deliver a
  1  5 copy of the application for a construction permit to
  1  6 the county board of supervisors in the county where
  1  7 the animal feeding operation or animal feeding
  1  8 operation structure subject to the permit is to be
  1  9 located.  The department shall not approve the
  1 10 application or issue a construction permit until
  1 11 thirty days following delivery of the application to
  1 12 the county board of supervisors.  The department shall
  1 13 consider comments from the county board of
  1 14 supervisors, if the comments are delivered to the
  1 15 department within the thirty days prior to approving
  1 16 the application or issuing the permit."
