  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3030, to Senate File 69, as
  1  2 passed by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  By striking page 7, line 38, through page 12,
  1  4 line 37, and inserting the following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  427B.18  TAXPAYER
  1  6 REIMBURSEMENT.
  1  7    1.  By July 1 of each year, the county treasurer
  1  8 shall certify and mail to each taxpayer who pays
  1  9 property taxes on property defined in section 427A.1,
  1 10 subsection 1, paragraphs "e" and "j", and assessed
  1 11 pursuant to section 427B.17, a statement of the amount
  1 12 of property taxes paid in the previous fiscal year for
  1 13 such property and the statement shall serve as a
  1 14 voucher for purposes of claiming taxpayer
  1 15 reimbursement from the state for property taxes paid
  1 16 on such property.
  1 17    2.  Not later than September 1, the claimant shall
  1 18 submit the certified voucher to the department of
  1 19 revenue and finance for reimbursement of property
  1 20 taxes paid on property assessed pursuant to section
  1 21 427B.17.  By December 1 of each year, the department
  1 22 shall issue warrants to each claimant in the amount of
  1 23 the claimant's certified voucher."
