The appointee, having received a two-thirds vote, was declared to
have been confirmed by the Senate.
Senator Iverson called up the appointment of Michael Gartner, as
Chair of the Vision Iowa Board, placed on the Individual
Confirmation Calendar on April 1, 2003, and found on page 720 of the
Senate Journal.
Senator Zieman moved that the foregoing appointment be
confirmed by the Senate.
