The bill, having received a constitutional majority, was declared to
have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to.

WITHDRAWN

Senator Drake asked and received unanimous consent that
Senate File 63 be withdrawn from further consideration of the
Senate.

SPECIAL GUESTS

Senator McKinley welcomed to the Senate chamber Queen Ashley
Braun and representatives from Pella’s Sixty-eighth Annual Tulip
Time Festival.

Queen Braun and her court appeared before the rostrum. Queen
Braun introduced the following members of her court: Elizabeth
Terborg, Tiffany Pol, Amy Laug, and Katie Kniff.

Queen Braun presented President Kramer a package of the famous
Pella Dutch pastries and invited the Senate chamber to attend the
Tulip Time Festival in Pella on May 1, 2, and 3, 2003.

The Queen, her attendants, and their parents distributed pastries
to the senators and staff.
