HOUSE FILE 235 WITHDRAWN
Tjepkes of Webster asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw House File 235 from further consideration by the House.
House File 556, a bill for an act relating to the exclusion of
certain nonprofit transitional housing and public housing from
certain landlord and tenant disputes, was taken up for consideration.
Paulsen of Linn offered amendment H-1145 filed by Paulsen and
Struyk of Pottawattamie as follows:

2 1. Page 1, line 7, by inserting after the word
3 "persons." the following: "a person who unlawfully
4 remains on the premises of such housing may be subject
5 to criminal trespass penalties pursuant to section
6 716.8."
