INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House Joint Resolution 7, by Drake, a joint resolution proposing
an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Iowa to change the
length of term of office for members of the Iowa House of
Representatives from two years to four years.
Read first time and referred to committee on state government.
House File 350, by Greiner, a bill for an act requiring that dealers
of certain swine file a surety bond with the department of agriculture
and land stewardship.
Read first time and referred to committee on agriculture.
House File 351, by Jenkins, a bill for an act relating to the
authority of a city to contract with or acquire equity interests in
business entities for the purpose of participating in electric energy
transmission organizations or implementing open-access tariffs for
the use of transmission or distribution facilities.
Read first time and referred to committee on commerce,
regulation and labor.
House File 352, by Roberts, a bill for an act relating to the
marketing of motor vehicle fuel and making penalties applicable.
Read first time and referred to committee on commerce,
regulation and labor.
