The House met pursuant to adjournment at 8:45 a.m., Gipp of
Winneshiek in the chair.
Prayer was offered by the Honorable Chuck Gipp, House Majority
Leader from Winneshiek County.
The Journal of Thursday, February 6, 2003 was approved.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House File 157, by Jenkins, a bill for an act creating a university-
based research utilization program, providing tax credits, and making
appropriations.
Read first time and referred to committee on economic growth.
House File 158, by Mertz, a bill for an act relating to farm deer
and providing for an effective date.
Read first time and referred to committee on agriculture.
House File 159, by Jenkins, a bill for an act relating to the
restoration of dedicated funds used for nondedicated purposes and
providing an effective date.
Read first time and referred to committee on ways and means.
