Prayer was offered by Reverend Ron Burcham, pastor of Gloria Dei
Lutheran Church, Urbandale. He was the guest of Representative
Raecker of Polk County.
The Journal of Wednesday, January 29, 2003 was approved.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House File 91, by Elgin, a bill for an act exempting from state
individual income tax the active duty pay of a member of the Iowa
national guard or the armed forces of the United States and including
effective and retroactive applicability dates.
Read first time and referred to committee on ways and means.
House File 92, by Foege, a bill for an act relating to the required
provider provisions under group health insurance policies and health
maintenance organization contracts.
Read first time and referred to committee on commerce,
regulation and labor.
House File 93, by Elgin, a bill for an act modifying allocations
and apportionments of road use tax funds.
Read first time and referred to committee on transportation.
