1 2 amendment, S-5383, to Senate File 2298, as amended,
1 3 passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
1 4 #1. Page 19, by inserting after line 23, the
1 5 following:
1 6 "Sec. . COMMUNITY-BASED CORRECTIONS FACILITY –
1 7 FORT DODGE. There is appropriated from the ending
1 8 balance surplus in the general fund of the state for
1 9 the indicated fiscal years prior to any other
1 10 distribution of the ending balance otherwise required
1 11 by section 8.57 or any other law, to the department of
1 12 corrections, the following amounts, or so much thereof
1 13 as is necessary, to be used for the purposes
1 14 designated:
1 15 For the construction of a community-based
1 16 correctional facility in Fort Dodge:
1 17 FY 2004-2005 ..................................... $ 1,500,000
1 18 FY 2005-2006 ..................................... $ 1,400,000"
