1 1 Amend Senate File 2288 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 2, by inserting after line 18 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "d. Of the amount allocated to eligible services
1 5 providers under paragraph "c", 70 percent shall be
1 6 distributed to the state's accredited community mental
1 7 health centers established or designated by counties
1 8 in accordance with law or administrative rule. If a
1 9 county has not established or designated a community
1 10 mental health center and has received a waiver from
1 11 the mental health and developmental disabilities
1 12 commission, the mental health services provider
1 13 designated by that county is eligible to receive
1 14 funding distributed pursuant to this paragraph in lieu
1 15 of a community mental health center. The funding
1 16 distributed shall be used by recipients of the funding
1 17 for the purpose of developing and providing evidence-
1 18 based practices and emergency services to adults with
1 19 a serious mental illness and children with a serious
1 20 emotional disturbance. The distribution amounts shall
1 21 be announced at the beginning of the federal fiscal
1 22 year and distributed on a quarterly basis according to
1 23 the formulas used in previous fiscal years.
1 24 Recipients shall submit quarterly reports containing
1 25 data consistent with the performance measures approved
1 26 by the federal substance abuse and mental health
1 27 services administration."
