  1  1    Amend the House amendment, S-3334, to Senate File
  1  2 344, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  By striking page 1, line 5, through page 7,
  1  5 line 12, and inserting the following:
  1  6    "Section 1.  Section 625A.9, subsection 2, Code
  1  7 Supplement 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    2.  If the judgment or order appealed from is for
  1  9 money, such bond shall not exceed one hundred ten
  1 10 percent of the amount of the money judgment or twenty-
  1 11 five million dollars, whichever is less.
  1 12    Sec. 2.  APPLICABILITY.  This Act applies to cases
  1 13 filed on or after July 1, 2004."
  1 14    #   .  Title page, by striking lines 1 through 7
  1 15 and inserting the following:  "An Act relating to a
  1 16 monetary limit on an appeal bond and providing an
  1 17 applicability date.""
