  1  1    Amend House File 667, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 63, by inserting after line 1, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 234.12A, subsection 1,
  1  6 paragraphs b and c, Code 2003, are amended to read as
  1  7 follows:
  1  8    b.  A retailer providing electronic funds transfer
  1  9 system equipment for transactions pursuant to the
  1 10 program shall be reimbursed seven cents for each
  1 11 approved transaction pursuant to the program utilizing
  1 12 the retailer's equipment as follows:
  1 13    (1)  For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2003,
  1 14 seven cents for each approved transaction.
  1 15    (2)  For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004,
  1 16 four cents for each approved transaction.
  1 17    (3)  For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005,
  1 18 and succeeding fiscal years, reimbursement shall not
  1 19 be provided under this paragraph.
  1 20    c.  A retailer that provides electronic funds
  1 21 transfer system equipment for transactions pursuant to
  1 22 the program and who makes cash disbursements pursuant
  1 23 to the program utilizing the retailer's equipment
  1 24 shall be paid a fee of seven cents by the department
  1 25 for each cash disbursement transaction by the retailer
  1 26 as follows:
  1 27    (1)  For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2003,
  1 28 seven cents for each cash disbursement transaction.
  1 29    (2)  For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004,
  1 30 four cents for each cash disbursement transaction.
  1 31    (3)  For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005,
  1 32 and succeeding fiscal years, reimbursement shall not
  1 33 be provided under this paragraph."
