1 1 Section 1. Section 22.7, Code Supplement 2003, is amended
1 2 by adding the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 48. Information concerning security
1 4 procedures or emergency preparedness information developed and
1 5 maintained by a government body for the protection of
1 6 governmental employees, visitors to the government body,
1 7 persons in the care, custody, or under the control of the
1 8 government body, or property under the jurisdiction of the
1 9 government body, if disclosure could reasonably be expected to
1 10 jeopardize such employees, visitors, persons, or property.
1 11 EXPLANATION
1 12 This bill amends Code section 22.7 by establishing an
1 13 exception to the open records law for information concerning
1 14 security procedures or emergency preparedness information
1 15 developed and maintained by a government body for the
1 16 protection of employees, visitors, persons, or property in the
1 17 care, custody, or under the control of the government body, if
1 18 such disclosure could reasonably be expected to jeopardize
1 19 such employees, visitors, persons, or property.
