  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-8561, to House File
  1  2 2555, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, line 4, by inserting after the figure
  1  5 "2" the following:  ", and inserting the following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  135.105D  VOLUNTARY LEAD
  1  7 HAZARD REMEDIATION – CENTRAL REGISTRY.
  1  8    1.  The department shall adopt rules, pursuant to
  1  9 chapter 17A, to develop and administer a central
  1 10 registry of target housing or child-occupied
  1 11 facilities constructed prior to 1978 that meet lead
  1 12 hazard remediation standards.  The department shall
  1 13 establish by rule fees in amounts sufficient to defray
  1 14 the costs of administering the central registry.  Fees
  1 15 received shall be considered repayment receipts as
  1 16 defined in section 8.2.  The department shall consider
  1 17 providing internet access to the registry.
  1 18    2.  For purposes of this section, "child-occupied
  1 19 facility" and "target housing" shall mean the same as
  1 20 defined in departmental rules.""
