  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-8568, to House File
  1  2 2302, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 17, by inserting after line 38 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  Section 99F.7, subsection 6, Code 2003,
  1  7 is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    6.  It is the intent of the general assembly that
  1  9 employees be paid at least twenty-five percent above
  1 10 the federal minimum wage level.  However, full-time
  1 11 employees at a facility of a licensee issued a new
  1 12 license to conduct gambling games on or after July 1,
  1 13 2004, shall be paid wages no less than one hundred
  1 14 percent of the average regional wage where the
  1 15 facility is located, as determined by the department
  1 16 of economic development."
  1 17    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
