1 2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 3, line 41, by inserting after the word
1 5 "appropriation" the following: "to an executive
1 6 branch agency other than the state board of regents".
1 7 #2. Page 3, line 46, by striking the words "of
1 8 that position" and inserting the following: "budgeted
1 9 for that position".
1 10 #3. Page 6, by inserting after line 36 the
1 11 following:
1 12 "# . Page 199, by inserting after line 34 the
1 13 following:
1 14 "Sec. ___. UNFILLED VACANCIES – STATE BOARD OF
1 15 REGENTS. The state board of regents shall report on
1 16 the policies of the institutions under the authority
1 17 of the state board for addressing the budget
1 18 ramifications associated with unfilled vacant
1 19 positions. If a policy does not exist, the state
1 20 board shall provide for implementation of such a
1 21 policy and report concerning the policy to the
1 22 government oversight committees of the senate and
1 23 house of representatives. The report shall be
1 24 submitted on or before December 15, 2004.""
