1 2 #1. Page 1, lines 2 and 3, by striking the words
1 3 "an agency, department, commission, board, committee,
1 4 officer, or other governing body of the state" and
1 5 inserting the following: "a board, commission,
1 6 department, officer, or other administrative office or
1 7 unit of the state".
1 8 #2. Page 1, line 13, by inserting after the word
1 9 "section." the following: "This section does not
1 10 apply to purchases made under the authority granted in
1 11 section 307.21."
1 12 #3. Page 2, by striking lines 8 through 11, and
1 13 inserting the following: "required specifications.
1 14 If the laws".
1 15 #4. Page 2, by striking lines 19 through 25 and
1 16 inserting the following:
1 17 "b. Every purchase in excess of twenty-five
1 18 thousand dollars which is not made through a
1 19 competitive bidding procedure must be made in
1 20 compliance with the procedure set out in subparagraphs
1 21 (1) through (3). An individual purchase made pursuant
1 22 to a competitively bid master contract or agreement is
1 23 not subject to the requirements of this paragraph "b"
1 24 if the item or service purchased is specifically
1 25 delineated in the contract or agreement."
1 26 #5. Page 4, by striking lines 14 through 16, and
1 27 inserting the following:
1 28 "1. CONSIDERATION FOR IOWA COMPANIES. Every
1 29 board, commission, department, officer, or other
1 30 administrative office or unit of the state shall in
1 31 good faith consider".
1 32 #6. Page 5, by inserting after line 14 the
1 33 following:
1 34 "3. INAPPLICABILITY. This section does not apply
1 35 to purchases made under the authority granted in
1 36 section 307.21."
1 37 #7. By striking page 5, line 15, through page 6,
1 38 line 8.
1 39 #8. Page 6, line 15, by striking the word
1 40 "preferences for" and inserting the following: "the
1 41 consideration of purchasing".
1 42 #9. Page 6, line 16, by inserting after the word
1 43 "and" the following: "contracting with Iowa".
1 44 #10. By striking page 6, line 20, through page 7,
1 45 line 27.
1 46 #11. Title page, line 2, by striking the words
1 47 "goals from" and inserting the following: "processes
1 48 concerning".
1 49 #12. By renumbering as necessary.
