1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 3, the
1 4 following:
1 5 "# . Page 1, line 5, by inserting after the word
1 6 "voter," the following: "an absentee ballot
1 7 courier,".
1 8 # . Page 1, line 12, by inserting after the word
1 9 "voter," the following: "an absentee ballot
1 10 courier,".
1 11 # . Page 16, line 4, by inserting after the word
1 12 "day." the following: "The statement shall also point
1 13 out that it is possible for an absentee ballot courier
1 14 to personally deliver the completed absentee ballot to
1 15 the office of the commissioner by five p.m. on
1 16 election day.""
1 17 #2. Page 2, line 7, by striking the word
1 18 "represents" and inserting the following: "acts as an
1 19 actual or implied agent of".
1 20 #3. Page 2, line 17, by striking the words "the
1 21 person represents" and inserting the following: "for
1 22 which the person is acting as an actual or implied
1 23 agent".
1 24 #4. Page 2, by striking lines 37 through 40, and
1 25 inserting the following: "The state commissioner
1 26 shall prescribe a form for receipts required by this
1 27 subsection. The receipt shall include all of the
1 28 following:
1 29 (1) The name of the courier.
1 30 (2) The date and time the voted absentee ballot
1 31 was received from the voter.
1 32 (3) The name and date of the election for which
1 33 the absentee ballot is being voted.
1 34 (4) The name of the political party, candidate, or
1 35 committee for which the courier is acting as an actual
1 36 or implied agent.
1 37 (5) A statement that the completed absentee ballot
1 38 will be delivered to the commissioner's office within
1 39 seventy-two hours or by five p.m. on election day,
1 40 whichever is sooner."
