1 1 Amend House File 2527, as passed by the House, as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 6 through 13, and
1 4 inserting the following: "parent by the state
1 5 registrar. The mailing of a certified copy of the
1 6 certificate to a biological parent shall not be
1 7 precluded by the execution of a release of custody
1 8 under chapter 600A, and, upon request, a biological
1 9 parent shall be provided with a certified copy of the
1 10 certificate unless the parental rights of the
1 11 biological parent are terminated."
1 12 #2. Page 1, by inserting before line 14, the
1 13 following:
1 14 "Sec. 2. Section 600A.9, subsection 4, Code 2003,
1 15 is amended by adding the following new paragraph:
1 16 NEW PARAGRAPH. e. The state registrar for the
1 17 purposes of section 144.13A, subsection 2."
