1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8072, to House File 2302 as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 6, by striking lines 3 through 6.
1 4 #2. Page 6, by striking line 23 and inserting the
1 5 following: "racetrack that has not been issued a
1 6 table games license under chapter 99F or no more than
1 7 three special agents for each racetrack that has been
1 8 issued a table games license under chapter 99F, plus
1 9 any direct and indirect support costs".
1 10 #3. Page 10, line 24, by inserting after the word
1 11 "chance" the following: ", unless otherwise
1 12 authorized by this chapter"."
1 13 #4. Page 12, by striking line 30 and inserting the
1 14 following: "is amended by striking the subsection and
1 15 inserting in lieu thereof the following:
1 16 8. The commission shall, upon application of a
1 17 licensee of a pari-mutuel dog or horse racetrack
1 18 licensed to conduct gambling games at a pari-mutuel
1 19 racetrack enclosure, issue a license to the licensee
1 20 to conduct table games of chance, including video
1 21 machines that simulate table games of chance, at the
1 22 pari-mutuel racetrack enclosure subject to the
1 23 requirements of this subsection. The licensee shall
1 24 be granted a table games license by the commission
1 25 without conducting a separate referendum authorizing
1 26 table games upon a determination by the commission
1 27 that granting the license is economically viable and
1 28 otherwise consistent with the requirements of this
1 29 chapter and upon payment of a license fee of ten
1 30 million dollars to the commission. However, a
1 31 licensee shall not be required to pay a fee to renew a
1 32 table games license issued pursuant to this
1 33 subsection."
1 34 #5. By striking page 12, line 31, through page 13,
1 35 line 5.
1 36 #6. Page 18, by striking lines 33 through 41 and
1 37 inserting the following:
1 38 "a. If the licensee is an excursion gambling boat
1 39 or a racetrack enclosure conducting gambling games
1 40 without a table games license issued pursuant to
1 41 section 99F.4A, twenty-two percent.
1 42 b. If the licensee is a racetrack enclosure
1 43 conducting gambling games and has been issued a table
1 44 games license pursuant to section 99F.4A, twenty-six
1 45 percent.
1 46 c. Notwithstanding paragraph "a", if the licensee
1 47 is an excursion gambling boat that is licensed to
1 48 operate a moored barge and another licensee of an
1 49 excursion gambling boat in the same county is not
1 50 licensed to operate a moored barge, twenty-six
2 1 percent."
2 2 #7. Page 23, by striking lines 22 through 24 and
2 3 inserting the following: "and excursion gambling
2 4 boats, including pari-mutuel wagering, horse".
2 5 #8. By renumbering as necessary.
