PAG LIN 1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8072, to House File 2302 as 1 2 follows: 1 3 #1. Page 6, by inserting before line 3 the 1 4 following: 1 5 "Sec. . Section 99D.9, Code 2003, is amended by 1 6 adding the following new subsection: 1 7 NEW SUBSECTION. 8. The commission shall require 1 8 that a licensee utilize Iowa resources, goods, and 1 9 services in the operation of a racetrack enclosure. 1 10 The commission shall develop standards to assure that 1 11 a substantial amount of all resources and goods used 1 12 in the operation of a racetrack enclosure emanate from 1 13 and are made in Iowa and that a substantial amount of 1 14 all services and entertainment are provided by 1 15 Iowans." 1 16 #2. Page 16, by inserting after line 2 the 1 17 following: 1 18 "Sec. . Section 99F.7, subsection 4, Code 2003, 1 19 is amended to read as follows: 1 20 4. The commission shall require that an applicant 1 21 utilize Iowa resources, goods and services in the 1 22 operation of an excursion gambling boat. The 1 23 commission shall develop standards to assure that a 1 24 substantial amount of all resources and goods used in 1 25 the operation of an excursion gambling boatcome1 26 emanate from and are made in Iowa and that a 1 27 substantial amount of all services and entertainment 1 28beare provided by Iowans." 1 29 #3.
