  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8072, to House File 2302 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 40 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 35A.13, subsection 3, Code
  1  6 Supplement 2003, is amended by adding the following
  1  7 new paragraph:
  1  8    NEW PARAGRAPH.  c.  Admission fees credited to the
  1  9 trust fund pursuant to sections 99D.14, 99F.4A, and
  1 10 99F.10."
  1 11    #2.  Page 6, line 17, by inserting before the words
  1 12 "A licensee" the following:  "a."
  1 13    #3.  Page 6, by inserting after line 27 the
  1 14 following:
  1 15    "b.  A licensee shall pay to the commission an
  1 16 admission fee of fifty cents for each person entering
  1 17 the grounds or enclosure of the licensee.  The
  1 18 admission revenue received by the commission pursuant
  1 19 to this paragraph shall be credited to the veterans
  1 20 trust fund created in section 35A.13.  The admission
  1 21 fee established under this paragraph shall continue to
  1 22 be paid until a total of fifty million dollars has
  1 23 been credited to the veterans trust fund under this
  1 24 paragraph, section 99F.4A, subsection 4, and section
  1 25 99F.10, subsection 2."
  1 26    #4.  Page 11, line 18, by striking the word
  1 27 "admission" and inserting the following:  "admission
  1 28 and".
  1 29    #5.  Page 12, line 24, by striking the words
  1 30 "regulatory fee" and inserting the following:  "fee
  1 31 fees".
  1 32    #6.  Page 12, line 28, by striking the words
  1 33 "regulatory fee" and inserting the following:  "fee
  1 34 fees".
  1 35    #7.  Page 16, line 44, by striking the words
  1 36 "ADMISSION REGULATORY FEE" and inserting the
  1 37 following:  "ADMISSION FEE AND REGULATORY FEES".
  1 38    #8.  Page 16, line 50, by inserting after the
  1 39 figure "2." the following:  "a."
  1 40    #9.  Page 17, line 10, by striking the letter "b."
  1 41 and inserting the following:  "b."
  1 42    #10.  Page 17, line 14, by striking the word
  1 43 "rate." and inserting the following:  "rate In
  1 44 addition to the admission fee charged under subsection
  1 45 3, an excursion gambling boat licensee shall pay to
  1 46 the commission an admission fee of fifty cents for
  1 47 each person embarking on an excursion gambling boat.
  1 48 The admission revenue received by the commission
  1 49 pursuant to this paragraph shall be credited to the
  1 50 veterans trust fund created in section 35A.13.  The
  2  1 admission fee established under this paragraph shall
  2  2 continue to be paid until a total of fifty million
  2  3 dollars has been credited to the veterans trust fund
  2  4 under this paragraph, section 99D.14, subsection 2,
  2  5 and section 99F.4A, subsection 4."
  2  6    #11.  Page 23, line 27, by inserting after the
  2  7 words "treatment fund" the following:  ", veterans
  2  8 trust fund,".
  2  9    #12.  By renumbering as necessary.
