1 1 Amend House File 2302 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 12, by inserting after line 21 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. ___. Section 99F.1, Code Supplement 2003, is
1 5 amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 1A. "Applicable charitable
1 7 percentage" means the percentage rate applicable to a
1 8 licensee or qualified sponsoring organization and
1 9 determined as follows:
1 10 a. If the highest tax rate applicable to the
1 11 licensee or qualified sponsoring organization under
1 12 section 99F.11 is less than twenty-two percent, four
1 13 percent.
1 14 b. If the highest tax rate applicable to the
1 15 licensee or qualified sponsoring organization under
1 16 section 99F.11 is twenty-two percent or more, but less
1 17 than twenty-six percent, three and one-half percent.
1 18 c. If the highest tax rate applicable to the
1 19 licensee or qualified sponsoring organization under
1 20 section 99F.11 is twenty-six percent or more, three
1 21 percent."
1 22 #2. Page 16, line 26, by striking the words "three
1 23 percent" and inserting the following: "the applicable
1 24 charitable percentage".
1 25 #3. Page 17, line 19, by striking the words "three
1 26 percent" and inserting the following: "the applicable
1 27 charitable percentage".
1 28 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
