  1  1    Amend House File 2319 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, by striking lines 2 through 5 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "a.  STATEWIDE OFFICE AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY
  1  5 ELECTIONS.
  1  6    ELECTION YEAR.  A political committee expressly
  1  7 advocating the nomination, election, or defeat of
  1  8 candidates for statewide office or the general
  1  9 assembly shall file a report on the same dates as a
  1 10 candidate's committee is required to file reports
  1 11 under subsection 2, paragraph "a".
  1 12    NONELECTION YEAR.  A political committee expressly
  1 13 advocating the nomination, election, or defeat of
  1 14 candidates for statewide office or the general
  1 15 assembly shall file a report as follows:"
