1 19 ISSUANCE OF LICENSES FOR GAMBLING GAMES AND PARI-
1 20 MUTUEL WAGERING.
1 21 1. Commencing with the effective date of this
1 22 section of this Act, the commission shall not issue a
1 23 license to conduct pari-mutuel wagering at a racetrack
1 24 pursuant to chapter 99D or to conduct gambling games
1 25 on an excursion boat or at a pari-mutuel racetrack
1 26 pursuant to this chapter.
1 27 2. This section does not affect the validity of a
1 28 license issued by the commission pursuant to chapter
1 29 99D or this chapter before the effective date of this
1 30 section of this Act or the authority of the commission
1 31 to suspend, revoke, transfer, or renew a license
1 32 issued before the effective date of this section of
1 33 this Act pursuant to chapter 99D or this chapter."
1 34 #6. By striking page 18, line 28, through page 19,
1 35 line 1, and inserting the following: "to operate an
1 36 excursion gambling boat. The commission shall decide
1 37 which".
1 38 #7. Page 23, by striking lines 7 through 20.
1 39 #8. Page 24, lines 3 and 4, by striking the words
1 40 and figure "without a table games license issued
1 41 pursuant to section 99F.4A".
1 42 #9. Page 24, by striking lines 6 through 8.
1 43 #10. Page 24, line 9, by striking the letter "c."
1 44 and inserting the following: "b."
1 45 #11. Page 29, by inserting after line 22 the
1 46 following:
1 47 "2A. The section of this Act enacting section
1 48 99F.4C, being deemed of immediate importance, takes
1 49 effect upon enactment."
1 50 #12. Title page, line 3, by inserting after the
2 1 word "boats," the following: "imposing a moratorium
2 2 for issuance of licenses for gambling games and pari-
2 3 mutuel wagering,".
2 4 #13. By renumbering and correcting internal
2 5 references as necessary.
