  1  1    Amend House File 2302 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 34 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 35A.13, subsection 3, Code
  1  5 Supplement 2003, is amended by adding the following
  1  6 new paragraph:
  1  7    NEW PARAGRAPH.  c.  Admission fees credited to the
  1  8 trust fund pursuant to sections 99D.14, 99F.4A, and
  1  9 99F.10."
  1 10    #2.  Page 7, line 26, by inserting before the words
  1 11 "A licensee" the following:  "a."
  1 12    #3.  Page 8, by inserting after line 2 the
  1 13 following:
  1 14    "b.  A licensee shall pay to the commission an
  1 15 admission fee of fifty cents for each person entering
  1 16 the grounds or enclosure of the licensee.  The
  1 17 admission revenue received by the commission pursuant
  1 18 to this paragraph shall be credited to the veterans
  1 19 trust fund created in section 35A.13.  The admission
  1 20 fee established under this paragraph shall continue to
  1 21 be paid until a total of fifty million dollars has
  1 22 been credited to the veterans trust fund under this
  1 23 paragraph, section 99F.4A, subsection 4, and section
  1 24 99F.10, subsection 2."

  1 26 "regulatory fee" and inserting the following:  "fee
  1 27 fees".
  1 28    #5.  Page 15, line 28 by striking the words
  1 29 "regulatory fee" and inserting the following:  "fee
  1 30 fees".
  1 31    #6.  Page 21, line 17, by striking the words
  1 32 "ADMISSION REGULATORY FEE" and inserting the
  1 33 following:  "ADMISSION AND REGULATORY FEE FEES".
  1 34    #7.  Page 21, line 21, by inserting after the
  1 35 figure "2." the following:  "a."
  1 36    #8.  Page 21, line 29, by striking the letter "b."
  1 37 and inserting the following:  "b."
  1 38    #9.  Page 21, line 32, by striking the word "rate."
  1 39 and inserting the following:  "rate In addition to the
  1 40 admission fee charged under subsection 3, an excursion
  1 41 gambling boat licensee shall pay to the commission an
  1 42 admission fee of fifty cents for each person embarking
  1 43 on an excursion gambling boat.  The admission revenue
  1 44 received by the commission pursuant to this paragraph
  1 45 shall be credited to the veterans trust fund created
  1 46 in section 35A.13.  The admission fee established
  1 47 under this paragraph shall continue to be paid until a
  1 48 total of fifty million dollars has been credited to
  1 49 the veterans trust fund under this paragraph, section
  1 50 99D.14, subsection 2, and section 99F.4A, subsection
  2  1 4."

  2  3 words "treatment fund" the following:  ", veterans
  2  4 trust fund,".
  2  5    #11.  By renumbering as necessary.
