  1  1    Amend House File 677 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 11, by inserting after line 33 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE PROVISION.  This Act
  1  5 takes effect on the date the general assembly notifies
  1  6 the department of revenue and finance of a reduction
  1  7 in or the elimination of a specific service or program
  1  8 funded by an appropriation from the general fund of
  1  9 the state that will at least offset the estimated
  1 10 future revenue loss to the general fund of the state
  1 11 as a result of the implementation of this Act."
  1 12    #2.  Title page, line 3, by inserting after the
  1 13 word "program" the following:  "and including an
  1 14 effective date".
