  1  1    Amend House File 679 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 13 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE PROVISION.  Section 2 of
  1  5 this Act takes effect on the date the general assembly
  1  6 notifies the department of revenue and finance of a
  1  7 reduction in or the elimination of a specific service
  1  8 or program funded by an appropriation from the general
  1  9 fund of the state that will at least offset the
  1 10 estimated future revenue loss to the general fund of
  1 11 the state as a result of the implementation of the
  1 12 franchise tax credits in section 2 of this Act."
  1 13    #2.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
  1 14 word "credit" the following:  "and including an
  1 15 effective date".
