1 1 Amend House File 573 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 18 through 21, and
1 3 inserting the following: "districts and judicial
1 4 election districts, a ten-member committee appointed
1 5 by the legislative council shall develop a plan that
1 6 reorganizes the judicial districts and judicial
1 7 election districts. The committee shall consist of
1 8 five members of the senate and five members of the
1 9 house of representatives, of which three members shall
1 10 be from the majority party and two members shall be
1 11 from the minority party for each chamber. The
1 12 committee shall develop and submit a plan to the
1 13 general assembly by November 15 that reorganizes the
1 14 judicial districts and judicial election districts.
1 15 The legislative service bureau shall".
