IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED
Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
Senate Files 2318 and 2325 and House Files 2515 and 2622 be
immediately messaged to the House.
The Senate stood at ease at 7:06 p.m. until the fall of the gavel for
the purpose of party caucuses.
The Senate resumed session at 7:28 p.m., Senator Maddox
presiding.

Senator Connolly asked and received unanimous consent to take
up the following resolution:

3 A Senate resolution honoring Senator Patrick J. Deluhery.
4 WHEREAS, Senator Patrick J. Deluhery is retiring
5 from legislative office after completing twenty-four
6 years in office as a State Senator; and
7 WHEREAS, Senator Deluhery's distinguished career as
8 a state legislator has included service as Assistant
9 Majority Leader during the Seventieth General Assembly
10 and as Assistant Minority Leader during the Sixty-
11 ninth and Seventy-seventh General Assemblies; and
