Senator Harper moved the adoption of amendment S-5397.

Amendment S-5397 was adopted by a voice vote.

With the adoption of amendment S-5397, the Chair ruled
amendment S-5377, filed by Senator Harper on April 3, 2002, to
pages 11 and 54 of the bill, out of order.

Senator King offered amendment S-5393, filed by him from the
floor to page 17 of the bill, and moved its adoption.

Amendment S-5393 was adopted by a voice vote.

Senator King moved that the bill be read the last time now and
placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
the bill was read the last time.

On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (H.F. 2472), the vote was:
