CONSIDERATION OF BILL

Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
for consideration Senate File 2048.
Senate File 2048
On motion of Senator Freeman, Senate File 2048, a bill for an act
prohibiting disbursements of moneys from the vision Iowa fund to
entities entering into certain labor-related agreements, and providing
an effective date, was taken up for consideration.
Senator Freeman offered amendment S-5023, filed by her from the
floor to page 1 of the bill, and moved its adoption.
Amendment S-5023 was adopted by a voice vote.
LEAVES OF ABSENCE
Leaves of absence were granted as follows:
Senator Deluhery, for the day, and Senator Shearer, until he returns, on request of
Senator Gronstal.
BUSINESS PENDING
Senate File 2048
The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 2048.
Senator McCoy offered amendment S-5018, filed by Senator
McCoy, et al., from the floor to page 2 of the bill, and moved its
adoption.
A record roll call was requested.
